What is Still Processing?

This space began as a place for me to publish long-form(ish) pieces of writing on various topics. However, I am a writer tortured by fear and shame (a deliciously inhibiting cocktail), so much of my writing tends to stay in notebooks and Google Doc drafts.

BUT, I still felt like I wanted to do something in this space that felt light, fun, and manageable.

That is when the don’t trust the algorithm (dta) series was born. dta is my attempt to build community via musings and music and to get people thinking more about the music they consume. Remember the thrill of handing your friend a freshly burned CD and opening up their world to songs you love?

I still want to put out longer pieces of writing, so bear with me as I try and break free of my own mental prison surrounding sharing those.
